What Brings People to Therapy?
Posted Nov 02, 2019 |
Some people attend counselling to learn to slow down, while others need help to speed up.
Some are trying to decide to leave situations, while others are finding ways to stay.
Some people feel a flood of unwanted emotions and others feel none.
Some people have lost someone and don't know how they will live without them.
Some people have been to war and have returned to a world that feels different to them.
Some have just had babies and don't feel the way they thought they should.
Some people have had accidents or their family members have and they don't know how they will find a way to live again now that everything is different.
Some people feel uncomfortable in their skin and want to feel differently.
Some people are living through one person cheating and another person being angry.
It all depends on who you are and what is happening for you. There is no right reason or problem to bring to counselling.
